CARBING chassis braces for MX5 NC
1.) Front Strut Bar (sturdy 4 point with brake master cylinder stopper) ~~~ $600

Our Notes:
Installation: The Carbing front strut bar instructions mentions the use of washers between the strut bar and the chassis, however, we have found that washers raises the bar such that it interferes with the underside of the bonnet. (probably why the washers have been omited from the Carbing bag of nuts.)
Also when tightening the nuts over the strut towers, we have found it beneficial to tighten the nuts nearest the engine, before tightening the ones near the fenders.
2.) Rear Strut Bar (requires trimming of rear plastic panels) ~~~ $420
Our Notes: Fear not! the rear strut bar can be installed neatly with a minimal trim of the panels. No ugly carving up of the rear boot panels

Our Notes: the rear *smaller brace* might rub against some cars running the stock midpipe.
